About the ARTIST

 

While still in high-school Mark L. Burgio aspired to be the next Charles Schultz, or Jim Davis, having grown up with classic Disney animation and comic strips such as, Peanuts; Calvin and Hobbes; and the Far Side.  These stellar works influenced me to create my own comic strip which ran in our local town paper for over 2 years.

 

Fast forward a few years, Mark continue to work as a freelance illustrator on logos, books, and other projects including writing and illustrating seven of his own children’s books listed on Amazon. More recently, Mark launched a web comic on WebToons called, Acorn Park that had a two and a half year run.
